We have all heard the words to the Unity Song, "Let there be peace on earth, and let it begin with me". Many of us have wondered what we can do to promote peace on earth.
Below, you will find useful ideas on how you can make the world a more peaceful place for us, and for future generations (scroll down). You will also have a chance to share your ideas, schedule an event or share a featured story with the world.

Support the formation of the United States Department of Peace:
There is currently a bill in the House of Representatives to establish a United States Department of Peace. The bill would introduce legislation to: * Explore nonviolent solutions to international conflicts. * Prevent Domestic Violence. * Prevent Drug Abuse. * Promote the safe disposal of weapons of mass destruction by the United States and other nations. * Much, much more.
